The boring bit to keep my insurers happy!

Gift Vouchers:  Purchased gift vouchers are valid for one year, are non-refundable and have no cash value.  The buyer is responsible for ensuring the suitability of the purchase and the terms and conditions of Jennifer Clare Photography.

The session booking fee: This fee is a retainer, towards the photographers time, it is non-refundable but maybe applied to a rescheduled session when necessary, within six months. Booking fees are due immediately, as payment secures your session date and current prices. Product pricing is guaranteed to 30 days after the viewing and ordering appointment.

Other expenses: You are responsible for covering additional fees and costs related to location choice (admission fees, parking etc.). Travel up to 15 miles from Littleover DE23 is included in the session fees. There maybe a charge to cover time and fuel for distances over and above this.

Rescheduling: If one of your party becomes ill, please call as soon as possible to reschedule. The Photographer maintains the right to reschedule if needed due to inclement weather, illness, emergency.

Supervision: You agree that any minor/s will be under your supervision and that you are responsible for the minor/s at all times.

After the session: Your viewing and ordering appointment, to assist you in your portrait selection, will be scheduled 1-2 weeks after the session.   An on line gallery option is available when necessary, live for five days to choose images and products.  Gallery extensions are chargeable.

Creative licence: The photographer will be granted complete artistic licence in relation to poses photographed and the locations used and her judgement regarding the locations/poses and number of images taken will be final. The Photographer reserves the creative right remove duplicates, blinks etc and to edit and release only images that fit with in her artistic standards.

Images: The photographer will provide a pleasing colour balance but cannot guarantee exact colour matching. Owing to anomalous reflectance it is sometimes impossible to record the exact colour as seen by the human eye. All product/images sizes are nominal.

Image archives: All portraits from your session will be kept for one year after the viewing and ordering session, though due to the nature of digital media no guarantees can be made. After this time they may be deleted where necessary to make room for other sessions.

Orders and payment: Full payment is required at the time of ordering. Bank transfer and major credit cards are accepted. Orders will be available for delivery/collection usually within 4-6 weeks from payment though some albums may take longer.

Refund policy: Due to the bespoke nature of products all sales are final. However if you find any product faulty, please contact me within 7 days of receipt and I will replace any faulty products deemed to be my fault or that of my suppliers.

Copyright: Jennifer Clare Photography retains copyrights on all images and reserves the right to use these images and/or reproductions for display, publication, marketing, or any other purpose. No use of the images will be made by the photographer for other commercial reason except with the written permission of the client. You may not use these images for profit, commercial endeavours, in competitions, or for professional display without written permission and understand that you may not copy, duplicate, print, scan the photographs.

Digital Images: If your purchase includes digital files, you will be provided with advice on printing and the same size file as the printed product purchased.  In some collections digital files are sized to print up to 12″x8″ along with a size for web use.  To ensure the best print quality avoid altering your images before printing. The Photographer is not responsible for printing errors or for the quality of prints or products not printed directly by her.

Liability: In the unlikely event that I am unable to perform due to illness, fire, accident, strike, or any other cause beyond our control, then your session fee will be returned, but shall have no further liability with respect to the contract. This limitation on liability shall also apply in the event that photographic materials are damaged or lost in processing through camera or media malfunction without fault on my part. In the event that I fail to perform for any other reason, I shall not be liable for any amount in excess of the retail value of your order.
