Had a lovely early morning family photography session in Sunnydale Park, Littleover, Derby today.  They were really patient and adorable, the children were pretty well behaved too :)

This particular photograph represents a couple of firsts for me:  It’s captured using Canon 35mm 1.4L, a lens I reserve for weddings and for commercial work.   I think it deserves more use on family sessions as it gives a very different and rather intimate perspective.  Secondly I’ve posted an image that isn’t technically perfect, something that really hurts the perfectionist in me, but I decided to live dangerously and save this lovely moment rather than worry about a little motion blur… eeek!

Thought it unfair to leave the boys out so…
