Now I love taking photographs at weddings, but I am not and never will be a wedding photographer.  Some people tend to think that the life of a wedding photographer is easy, but it most definitely is not; it’s extremely time consuming, physically draining and stressful (for me anyway!).  However I have lots of (younger!) pals who are brilliant at it and when Cris Matthews asked if I would second shoot with him at Kedleston Hall I jumped at the chance; I adore Kedleston and love Cris’s work and wanted to see him in action.

Cris is known at Flash Matthews to his tog pals and if you view the stunning bridal portraits on his website you will understand why.  Keddleston Hall along with the lovely, lovely Rachel and Dan was an ideal opportunity to witness him ‘strobing’ his stuff.  He is also brilliant at setting up couple shots;  two of my favourites are ones that Cris set up, on the stairs inside the house, all I had to do was get the technicalities right!
